Tradition

Rue (Ruta graveolens) carries a long tradition across Mediterranean Europe and Latin America — known as la ruda, it has been used in folk practice for protection from negative energies, clearing of spaces, and ceremonial cleansing.

How to use

Place the incense stick in a heat-safe holder. Light the tip and let it catch flame for a few seconds. Gently blow out the flame so the stick smoulders and releases fragrant smoke.

Care & safety

Light incense in a well-ventilated space. Place in a heat-safe burner with sand or stone insulation to catch ash. Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from curtains, paper, pets, and children.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep sealed if possible to preserve the aromatic oils.
