Tradition

Rue — also known as Ruda or Ruta — has been used for centuries in Mediterranean, European, and Latin American magical traditions. Long-valued in folk practice as a protective herb, used to ward off unwelcome energy, draw prosperity, and spiritually cleanse a space.

How to use

Add 1-2 tablespoons to a bucket of wash water for cleaning floors, or to a spiritual bath. Use a few drops on a clean cloth to wipe altar surfaces or ritual tools. Use to prepare blank candles before dressing them for an intention. Not for internal use.
