About the stone
Rose quartz is the pink variety of quartz — silicon dioxide tinted by trace amounts of titanium, iron, or manganese. It forms in massive deposits rather than as defined crystals, which is why most rose quartz appears as smooth, translucent pink stone rather than faceted points. Madagascar and Brazil are among the best-known sources for the deeper, more saturated colour.
In crystal tradition
In crystal tradition, rose quartz is associated with the heart chakra and is long-valued as the stone of love. Bowl forms combine practical use (holding tumbled stones or jewelry) with the soft pink presence of the stone. Often kept on the altar or in a meditation space.
Each piece is one of a kind. Natural variations in colour, shape, size, and pattern are part of what makes the stone what it is — the photograph shows a representative example, your piece will look slightly different.
