Psychedelics and Spirituality

$23.99

An anthology on the religious and spiritual dimensions of psychedelics, gathering decades of thought on entheogens as a path toward meaning. Edited by one of the field's longtime scholars.

Psychedelics and Spirituality collects essays from researchers, scholars, and practitioners — among them Huston Smith, Stanislav Grof, Roger Walsh, Frances Vaughan, and Brother David Steindl-Rast — on the place of entheogens in spiritual life. The contributions span religious studies, psychology, and first-hand reflection, considering how psychedelics have long been associated with mystical experience across traditions, and what their careful, intentional use might mean today. Edited by Thomas B. Roberts with a foreword by Roger Walsh, it offers a substantive survey rather than advocacy.
