Tradition

Palo santo (Bursera graveolens) has been used by Indigenous peoples of Peru, Ecuador, and Bolivia for thousands of years — burned in ceremonies for cleansing and prayer. The Spanish name means 'holy wood.'

How to use

Place the incense stick in a heat-safe holder. Light the tip and let it catch flame for a few seconds. Gently blow out the flame so the stick smoulders and releases fragrant smoke. One stick burns for about 30-45 minutes.

Care & safety

Light incense in a well-ventilated space. Place in a heat-safe burner with sand or stone insulation to catch ash. Never leave burning incense unattended. Keep away from curtains, paper, pets, and children.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry place. Keep sealed if possible to preserve the aromatic oils.
