Paper and leaves — both born from trees, here brought back together. A handmade notebook bound in vegan leaf leather by Leafii, with a swappable paper insert system so the cover lives on long after the first book is filled.

About the notebook

The cover is crafted from real fallen teak leaves harvested in Northern Thailand and sealed in protective BOPP film — a material Leafii has developed as a sustainable alternative to animal leather. Each cover is unique: no two leaves carry the same veining, colour, or grain. The interior notebook is a separate lined refill that slips in and out, so when one is full you simply swap in a new one and the cover keeps going.

Available in Gold, Blue, and Green, in Small ($35) and Large ($45).

Canadian-designed accessories brand working with vegan leaf leather — a material made from fallen teak leaves gathered in Northern Thailand. The leaves are cleaned, pressed, and sealed in BOPP film to create a soft, supple, durable surface that mimics traditional leather without the animal cost. Because the source is leaves rather than hide, no two pieces look alike: each one carries the venation, colour, and character of the leaf it began as.
