Ingredients

  • Organic lavandin flowers (Lavandula × intermedia)

Traditional uses

Lavandin was originally bred in southern France for the perfume industry, where its high oil yield and stronger aroma made it especially valued. While English lavender has a softer, sweeter scent, lavandin is more uplifting and bracing. Both are members of the wider lavender family with deep roots in Mediterranean herbal and aromatic tradition.

Suggested use

Use in herbal tea blends — pairs beautifully with chamomile, rose, or lemon balm. Add to sachets, bath salts, herbal pillows, or potpourri. Can be infused into oil for topical preparations.

Care & safety

Lavandin contains higher levels of camphor than English lavender — generally avoid during pregnancy and for young children. Not recommended for internal use in epilepsy. Patch test before topical use.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry, dark place in a sealed container.
