Traditional uses

Each root in this blend has its own deep tradition. Licorice and astragalus are foundational herbs in traditional Chinese medicine — astragalus long-used as a wellness tonic, licorice as a harmonizing root. Echinacea is foundational in North American Indigenous and Western herbal practice. Ginger is the warming spice in Ayurveda and Chinese medicine alike.

Brewing

Light brew: steep 1-2 tsp per cup with freshly boiled water for 4-8 minutes. Strong wellness brew: simmer for 15-20 minutes.

Contains licorice — those with high blood pressure, kidney conditions, or on certain medications should consult a healthcare provider before regular use. Contains echinacea — those on immunosuppressants or with autoimmune conditions should consult a practitioner. Avoid in pregnancy without practitioner guidance.
