About the soda
County Bounty sources fruits from Ontario farmers wherever possible — supporting local growers, reducing food miles, and keeping money in the regional economy. Up to 50% less sugar than leading brands. The team is paid above living wage with full benefits.
About the maker
Founded in 2016 by Dodie Ellenbogen as a market-garden farm in Prince Edward County, before pivoting to soda in 2018 after a gift of soon-to-spoil strawberries led her to cordials, then to bottled drinks. Now based in Napanee, Ontario, County Bounty makes farm-to-glass sodas from Ontario fruits and herbs — up to 50% less sugar than leading brands, sweetened with cane sugar, woman-owned. The team of four is paid above living wage with full benefits, and a portion of profits is donated each year to Indigenous organizations including the Native Women's Association of Canada.
