Traditional uses

Adaptogens are a class of herbs traditionally used in Ayurvedic, Chinese, and other herbal traditions to support the body's resilience to stress. Familiar adaptogens like ashwagandha, holy basil, eleuthero, and licorice have been long-valued for steadying energy through life's demands.

Suggested use

Hot: Simmer 1-2 tsp (5-10g) for 20-30 minutes (adaptogen roots take longer than leaves). Strain, sweeten with honey if desired. Iced: Same brewing, then chill.
