How it biodegrades

"Biodegradable" doesn't mean it dissolves in water. The glitter needs bacteria and microorganisms to break down — once it enters the environment, microbes consume the biodegradable content and turn it into carbon dioxide, water, and biomass. Minimum biodegradation time is roughly one month, depending on heat, moisture, and microbe concentration.
