- Organic nettle leaf (Urtica dioica)
Traditional uses
Nettle has been used across European, North African, and West Asian herbal traditions for thousands of years. Traditionally valued as a deeply nourishing tonic — rich in iron, calcium, potassium, and magnesium. Long-used in spring tonic blends as a cleansing herb, and traditionally given for women's health, fertility, and during pregnancy and breastfeeding (with practitioner guidance). Drying and steeping deactivates the sting entirely.
Suggested use
Brew 1-2 tsp per cup with freshly boiled water. Steep covered for 10-15 minutes for a stronger nutritive infusion. Can be combined with raspberry leaf, oat straw, or red clover in nourishing herbal blends.
Care & safety
Generally well-tolerated. Those on blood-thinning, blood-pressure, or diabetes medications should consult a healthcare provider before regular use.
Storage
Store in a cool, dry, dark place in a sealed container.
