So strong and flavourful

A little goes a long way! First use i put in what looked like the perfect amount, when it seeped the leaves grew 4x or even 5x their size. Learned my lesson and used much less next time. It has such a robust and potent flavour. A great deal from a great shop!

  • This tea is a delicate, stimulating beverage made from the season's fresh harvest of the first young leaves. These handpicked tea leaves from the high mountaintops of Japan are immediately steamed to retain their peak flavor and vibrant, brilliant, green color.
  • Extensive research confirms the high anti-oxidant and poly phenol activity found in green tea, and it comes highly recommended as a general cleansing beverage.
Suggested Use: Add sencha leaves to a teapot (one tsp per cup.) Add near-boiling water to each cup, and let cool down for 2 minutes. Pour the water from cups into the teapot. Brew for 1-2 minutes and serve.

Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in a well sealed container.
