Tradition
Neroli — the essential oil and hydrosol of the bitter orange blossom — has been valued in European, Mediterranean, and Middle Eastern aromatic tradition since at least the 1500s. The name comes from Anne Marie Orsini, the 17th-century Princess of Nerola, who popularized using the fragrance to scent her gloves.
How to use
Use as a facial toner after washing, a body spray, or a linen mist. Add to baths and bath blends. Mix into natural skincare and cosmetic recipes. Pairs beautifully with citrus essential oils (orange, petitgrain, mandarin), and with rose, sandalwood, or coriander.
