Ego Death by Brian Nori
Ego Death — a print of Brian Nori's mixed-media meditation on transformation and the dissolution of the constructed self. Available as small or large paper print.
About the piece
"'Ego Death' is an exploration of transformation, a journey through the self as we transcend beyond the confines of our constructed identities. This mixed media piece is a visual meditation on the dissolution of the ego and the awakening to our true essence."
"A man's face splits open to reveal a vibrant green skull, symbolizing the shedding of egoic layers to uncover the raw, untouched self within. The eye at the centre of the forehead, encased in a maze, represents the intricate journey through our inner thoughts towards enlightenment."
"'Ego Death' is not just a piece to be viewed but an interactive passage, inviting the onlooker to participate in the metamorphosis, to feel the constant flux of being, and to embrace the perpetual cycle of death and rebirth within."

About the artist
Brian Nori
Self-taught Canadian visionary artist based in Sudbury, Ontario, where he runs Nori Gallery. His path into painting opened after a 2012 MS diagnosis led him into the Peruvian Amazon to live and work with the Shipibo people and the Temple of the Way of Light — an experience that reshaped his perception of life and his practice. His work explores the conscious and subconscious mind through painting, projection mapping, and emerging technologies, with the intention of inspiring new perspectives of self-discovery and healing across mind, body, and spirit.
