Vitex (Chaste) Berries

  •  A butterfly attracting small shrub with purple flowers that is native to the Mediterranean. The unripe berries are harvested year round, as ripe berries tend to fall immediately to the ground and get lost in the soil.
  • Said to support physical and emotional health during a woman's menstrual cycle and in the transition into menopause, relieving mild mood changes, occasional cramps, water retention, and hot flashes.

Suggested Use: Usually used as a tincture or tea infusion, however they may be cracked and sprinkled on food, producing a slight pepper taste.
Storage: Store in a cool, dark, dry place in an airtight container.
Safety: We recommend that you consult with a qualified healthcare practitioner before using any herbal products, particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications.
