Marjoram Leaf

  • A perennial herb that is indigenous to Cyprus and Southern Turkey. Just as the plant begins to flower, the tops are harvested and dried in the shade.
  • Has sweet pine and citrus flavors and is similar but more delicate than oregano. It has been used in herbal medicine to soothe digestive issues.

Suggested: Most commonly in culinary applications, marjoram is used as a seasoning in soups, stews, dressings, and sauces. It mixes well with thymebay leavespepper, and juniper berries. It can also be made into a tea or used in infusions and poultices.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, dark place in a sealed container.
